Free Language Immersion Operation (FLIO) is a non-profit company dedicated to the education of languages and culture.
The purpose of FLIO is to place students of language into a locality of their choice with sponsorship from participating countries, companies or colleges for a meaningful work and living experience
Fr. Leland Lubbers, S.J. - Dies at 80
The Rev. Leland "Lee" E. Lubbers, S.J., founder of FLIO and SCOLA died Friday, June 27, 2008. He was 80. A memorial blog for Fr. WHAT IS FLIO
FLIO is a language and cultural exchange program. U.S. citizens travel to a foreign country to live, work or attend school with the focus on learning the language and culture of the host country.
